Privacy notice

Last updated 2 November 2026

This notice covers this website, lanciot.com. The Lanciot platform itself, meaning account creation and the customer dashboard at app.lanciot.com and the data a probe collects inside a customer network, is governed by the agreement we sign with that customer. Creating an account happens there, so anything you enter while signing up is covered by that agreement and not by this notice.

What we collect

Nothing. This site has no forms and asks you for nothing. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts.

The only record of your visit is the standard server log our host keeps, described below. If you email us, we hold that email so we can reply to it.

Who else sees it

This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes the request in transit and keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, the page you asked for and the time you asked for it. Vercel keeps those logs on our behalf for a short retention period and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Our email runs on Microsoft 365, so an email you send us is stored there. Beyond those processors, nobody outside Lanciot sees it.

Why we may use it, and on what basis

Server logs exist so the site can be served securely and kept working. The basis is our legitimate interest in running and protecting our own infrastructure. An email you send us we use to answer you, on the basis of that same legitimate interest in replying to someone who got in touch.

We do not use either for anything else, and we do not sell them or pass them on for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Server logs age out on our host's standard schedule. An email exchange we keep while we are in contact, and for up to two years after our last exchange, after which we delete it. Ask us sooner and we will delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our using it. Email hello@lanciot.com and we will deal with it, normally within a few days and always within a month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
